Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Effective Jul 2026 · v1.2
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. This toggle applies that right, and we honour it for any visitor, not just California residents.
PYLON Film does not sell personal information for money under the statute's narrow definition. The 'sharing' definition (cross-context behavioural advertising) is in scope in two ways: we use advertising pixels (the Meta and X pixels) for marketing attribution on non-playback pages; and on the free, ad-supported tier we serve ads through Google, with mobile install attribution used only with your App Tracking Transparency permission. Premium subscribers see no ads, apart from an occasional sponsor spot on a premiere. Playback pages never carry marketing pixels, regardless of any setting; on the free tier, serving an ad necessarily tells Google’s ad server which film the ad plays in.
When you opt out here, marketing pixels are turned off in this browser immediately, and they stay off even if you later accept marketing cookies. Opting back in clears this override only: marketing then still needs to be re-enabled through the cookie banner or the Cookie Policy page. Ads on the free tier switch to non-personalised: ads still play (they fund the free tier) but they are no longer tailored to you across other sites and apps. For a signed-in account your opt-out also blocks analytics sharing on our servers. For the strongest control, subscribe to Premium (ad-free apart from an occasional sponsored premiere) or, on iOS, decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt.

What this covers
- Advertising pixels · the Meta and X pixels and related marketing tags loaded on non-playback pages. Opting out turns them off in this browser immediately, and they stay off even if you later accept marketing cookies. Opting back in clears the override only; re-enable marketing via the cookie banner.
- Advertising (Google IMA) · ads on the free tier. When this flag is set we serve only non-personalised ads (npa=1) on this browser; Premium removes ads apart from an occasional sponsored premiere.
- Product analytics (PostHog) · aggregate usage metrics, first-party proxied. Controlled by the Analytics category in the cookie banner; outside strict-consent regions it is on unless you turn it off there. For signed-in accounts this opt-out also blocks analytics sharing server-side.
- Error monitoring (Sentry) · crash + error traces. Controlled by the Analytics category in the cookie banner.
